The Closest to the Pin Contest
Like the hole in one contest, a closest to the pin contest is also traditionally held on a par 3 hole and frequently on the same hole as a hole in one contest.
As you have probably guessed, the golfer who hits the ball closest to the hole is the winner. You’ll want to have a measuring tape near the green so you can measure any shots are very close. And as with the longest drive, you should plan on having one contest for men and one for women.
As with all of the other contests, running a closest to the pin contest is yet another opportunity to sell a sponsorship and a golf tournament sponsor sign, which helps raise additional money for your charity.
